Cardinal Creek's Million Dollar Shootout Attracts Local Golfers and Becomes Annual Event!
Local golfers gathered recently at Cardinal Creek Golf Course in Beecher, Il, , to compete in the “Million Dollar Shoot Out”. These golfers qualified to apply the skills of their game to compete for the big prize…a million dollars for getting a hole-in-one on 9-North.
The contestants were allowed one shot to make a hole-in-one on the 160 yard 9- North hole. Although there were no Million Dollar Shoot Out winners this year, many participants said they will be back again to qualify for next year’s shoot out. This successful promotion is planned to become an annual event at the Cardinal Creek Golf Course.
Cardinal Creek awards $1000.00 to any golfer who shoots a hole-in-one on No. 9- North, during the event’s qualifying phase. Golfer’s achieving this goal immediately meets the eligibility to participate in the annual Million Dollar Shoot Out. Other golfers who succeeded in getting closest to the pin on 9-North, on Fridays, that began in August of this year, were also eligible to compete in this event. Cardinal Creek monitors by video surveillance every golfer on 9-North during the determined qualifying days. A live camera captures and records the golfers on the tee. This is transmitted into the clubhouse and pro shop to insure authentication.
